Main purpose of the Job
Manage all contractual representation agreements entered into by The SpaceStation, with specific focus on accountability for the revenue performance of these contractual clients and related service level agreements, to ensure we retain and grow revenue for and from these publishers. Furthermore, develop and extend The SpaceStation?s contractual representation portfolio and footprint
Job Outputs
? Accountable to the revenue targets of all contractual representation agreements
? Assume the managerial relationship and day-to-day engagement with these contractual clients on behalf of The SpaceStation
? Line manager to the dedicated sales resources to be deployed on the portfolio of contractual publishing clients
? Reporting on these contractual publishing clients as per the specific SLA requirements and product set
? Develop strong client relationships related to these contractual publishing clients and grow The SpaceStation?s advertiser base and revenues through related and required sales activities.
? Develop sales strategies and sales plans as required
? Implementation of said strategy ? proactive, innovative, share information, interpret industry needs
? Provide sales propositions that illustrate an understanding of the clients business while addressing the needs of The SpaceStation business
? Promote holistic online communication solutions backed by the appropriate product knowledge
? Active participation in sales presentations to agencies/clients
? Assist with the preparation of sales collateral

? People management skills
? A team player: Proven ability to build productive relationships both internally and externally
? Strong people skills: Ability to share information and interact at a strategic and senior management level
? Sales, negotiation and presentation skills

? Attention to detail, analytical and a thorough understanding of all media planning, buying and strategy
? Knowledge of research tools ? AMPS, ad index, Effective Measure, Google Analytics, etc.

Qualifications and Experience
? Matric + Marketing/Sales/Communication or related tertiary qualification a prerequisite
? At least 2 years management experience and at least 2 years experience in digital advertising sales (media sales/media planning/media strategy and/or client service will be preferential)
? Negotiation / sales / presentation skills
? Fully computer literate (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet etc.)
? Media courses: SAARF/ AAA/ AMASA will be preferable
? Strong references from previous employers and clients required
